Each year, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (HJCC) supports the business of art in Hawaii by organizing this annual venue for the best works of Hawaii‘s artists. We welcome all interested local artists to submit entries to this art exhibit. As a Hawaii artist, this is your opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent!

On April 11, 2016, 17 HJCC members experienced a royal visit to Iolani Palace.

The first Matsuri in Hawai‘i was held in 1980. Since then, Matsuri in Hawai‘i has allowed participants from Japan the opportunity to share their culture through music, crafts, food and dance, while Hawai‘i residents and visitors alike enjoyed learning about their host culture. In 1988, Matsuri in Hawai‘i became known as the Pan-Pacific Festival, and today continues to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the Pacific Rim.
