On May 7th, the formal kick-off of the Emerging Young Business Leaders Program was held with Hawaii Governor Ige and Hiroshima Governor Yuzaki.

A group of Momiji Bank clients from Hiroshima, Japan visited Honolulu in April, 2017. Referred by Hiroshima Prefecture, the chamber arranged their visits to our member companies. They also had a dinner with our members and enjoyed lively conversation and new friendship.

Foreign Minister of Japan has announced that Wayne Ishihara, President of Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce will be awarded with the 2017 Imperial Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays (Kyokujitsu Sokosho).
