At the celebration of the Emperor’s Birthday on November 28th, 2018, the KIZUNA Group (made up of local Japanese organizations) were given commendations from the Hawaii Consulate General of Japan for organizing and planning the 150th Anniversary of the GANNENMONO in 2018.

Over the past few weeks, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (HJCC) President & CEO Wayne Ishihara and Chair-Elect Jon Tsukamoto met with Japanese delegations during their visit to Hawaii.
