We are an organization founded for the promotion of business and economic growth in Hawaii based upon the principle, “Members Supporting Members.”

The organization provides leadership and programs which promote membership interaction, resulting in growth and the continuation of its legacy.

We continue creating opportunities since 1900 to promote fostering friendships, connecting “B2B” (business-to-business), and mālama ka ‘āina (‘caring for the land’).

42 guests comprised of both HJCC members and non-members gathered together on Friday, April 20th at the Kapiolani Community College Tamarind Room for the HJCC “Elegant Culinary Dinner 2018” event. The participants were “wowed” with dishes prepared by the students who participated in the 2018 American Culinary Foundation (ACF) Competition with special wine pairings for each dish made by Master Sommelier Roberto Viernes.

A special mahalo to HJCC Member and event coordinator, Sharon Narimatsu, for putting together such a wonderful evening. We would also like to thank Master Sommelier Roberto Viernes, Chef Instructor/Co-Coach Jason Peel, and the 2018 ACF Competition Team and all of the culinary students at Kapiolani Community College for a very special one-of-a-kind dinner experience.
