We are an organization founded for the promotion of business and economic growth in Hawaii based upon the principle, “Members Supporting Members.”

The organization provides leadership and programs which promote membership interaction, resulting in growth and the continuation of its legacy.

We continue creating opportunities since 1900 to promote fostering friendships, connecting “B2B” (business-to-business), and mālama ka ‘āina (‘caring for the land’).

Congratulations to the Hawaii Convention Center and HJCC Member Teri Orton (General Manager) on their recognition in venue management by the International Association of Venue Managers!

Winning the 2019 Venue Excellence Award, Teri says “this award honors the work of our entire team for providing world-renowned service and aloha to each of our guests.” She was also recognized in March by Smart Meetings magazine for her leadership.

The facility is also LEED v4 O+M Gold Certified (Existing Building), the first in the state and first “public assembly, convention center” in the nation.
