For over a decade, Step Stone Business Development has provided confidential, customized, executive business coaching guidance to owners, executives and entrepreneurs.  Clients range from Hawaii Top 250 firms to multi-generational family businesses to name-brand entrepreneurs.
Previously, Nishida led the team-focused transformations of two legacy 1,000+ employee companies; Del Monte Fresh-Hawaii (DMFP) and Maui Pineapple Company (ML&P).  He credits those teams with the execution of innovative business models that included the market-changing commercialization of two super-premium products; the coveted Maui Gold and the globally recognized Del Monte Gold varieties. Nishida also championed environmental stewardship initiatives such as water resources management, bio-remediation and carbon footprint reduction.

Duane Kurisu is a real estate investor and owns and manages office buildings, shopping centers and industrial parks. He is also the Chairman and CEO of aio, a holding company for businesses with brands focused on Hawaii and the Pacific in the areas of media, technology, sports and food.

At the young age of 20, Marian Harada purchased a small restaurant called the Sukiyaki Inn.  This became the start of the many businesses Marian would open under the M. Harada Enterprise umbrella. In 1982, Marian asked nephew James Harada to understudy with her with the plan to take over the family business.  And in the mid-90s, Jim brought in son Scott where he now serves as General Manager.
