The Honolulu Japanese Chamber has a segment in this video produced by the Department of Education (DOE). It is a series which will be available for students to use in their studies. This segment is about the Japanese Heritage in Hawaii.
The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce received a certificate of appreciation and flag from the National Park Service. The flag was raised on the USS Arizona Memorial during the two day painting project. Presenting the items to Chairman Gordon Kagawa was Past Chair Wayne Kato who was a co-chair with Jerry Boster for the painting project.
On November 9, delegation from Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce & Industry paid courtesy visit to HJCC. They met with Chair Gordon Kagawa and other leaders and discussed ideas to further relationship.
Ms. Kimie Otani, Chair of the Fukui Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Women’s Club visited HJCC office to discuss the Business Women’s Club’s upcoming trip to Hawaii to attend our 10th Annual Generational Awards Banquet. She met with HJCC leadership and discussed various ideas to facilitate closer relationships.
President Wayne Ishihara represented the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce as a Working Committee member of the Honolulu Festival Foundation on a recent trip to Kagoshima, Japan.
