In the September 13th, 2017 edition of MidWeek Voice (West O’ahu), a Honolulu Star-Advertiser publication, Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce President Wayne Ishihara was featured in an article, which highlights his career and tenure as HJCC president, includes a brief interview, and focuses on his earlier commendation of the Imperial Decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays (Kyokujitsu Sokosho).

If you do not live in West O’ahu and don’t have access to this particular publication, you may read the article here.

A special thank you to Immediate Past Chair Dave Erdman and Communications Committee chair (and current Chair Elect) Melanie Okazaki for their guidance and effort in getting this published.
