Leadership Entrepreneurial Exchange Program
We are happy to announce the launch of our new Leadership and Entrepreneurial Exchange Program [LEEP], designed to foster leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit among our members. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills, gain international experience, and build valuable networks.
Program History
In 2017, the State of Hawaii and the Hiroshima Prefecture Governments celebrated its 20th Sister State Anniversary. In recognition of this milestone, the "Emerging Young Business Leaders Program" was initiated with the aim to create new business opportunities and share values through collaboration between young business leaders of Hiroshima and Hawaii. The Hiroshima prefecture and representatives from the State of Hawaii and HJCC worked closely to formulate a program they felt would promote economic exchange and further development of the partnership.
The program has been re-named to "Leadership & Entrepreneurial Exchange Program [LEEP]" to better reflect the purpose of this program.
Program Details
The focus of this program is to create meaningful relationships between its participants that begin with friendships and an exchange of business value, solutions, ideas that build trust and open doors to cultivating new business relationships between Hawaii and Hiroshima. LEEP cohorts represent diverse industries including banking & finance, health, energy, education, insurance, retail, legal, small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The LEEP is a 5-month program designed for business leaders and entrepreneurs who are committed to personal growth, professional impact, and community leadership. Through facilitated sessions, the cohort will have the opportunity to engage directly with established business professionals and build alliances with fellow LEEP Leaders and their counter-parts in Hiroshima, Japan.
