Chair Kristi Goes to Washington DC

HJCC Chair of the Board Kristi Inkinen Yanagihara travelled to Washington DC to attend the 2024 Ambassador, Consul General and Japanese American Leaders meeting sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The purpose of this meeting is to bring leadership together from both sides of the Pacific to discuss how to collaboratively work together to ensure a stronger U.S.-Japan relationship" (U.S. Japan Council)

Japanese American Leaders from around the country and their Consul Generals gathered in Washington DC to meet His Excellency Shigeo Yamada, Ambassador of Japan to the United States of America.
