Ehime Delegation Visit

On Saturday, February 10, 2024, 12-members from the Ehime Prefecture Assembly including Chairperson Yasuhito Takayama visited President & CEO Steven Teruya and Mai Shiomi at the HJCC Office. Their visit to Hawaii was to celebrate their 20th sister-state relationship as well as attending a ceremony held by the Ehime Maru Memorial Association, remembering those who lost their lives in the mid-ocean accident 23 years ago. This was followed by a visit to the Hawaii FoodBank where they were interested to learn more about the function and importance of the food bank, especially during emergencies.
