Shinnen Enkai - New Year Celebration -

Held in January, the Chamber's annual New Year's banquet, Shinnen Enkai, features a lively celebration of the new year with HJCC Members, friends and family.

The highlight of the evening is the Chamber's "Shoko Shiranami Gonin Otoko" kabuki play - a modified HJCC-style kabuki performance!! Chamber members turn into kabuki stars for a special one-time performance and re-enact the one of the most famous scenes of the from the Shiranami Gonin Otoko kabuki play, where five infamous dorobos (thieves) encounter the clever policeman and brag about their life stories before being captured.
