Foyer Activities [5:00 PM - 5:50PM]
Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu! Guests can arrive as early as 5pm and take part in some activities in the foyer before the doors open. Exchange new year greetings and re-connect with fellow Chamber members! There will be a no host bar available for drinks and omamori's available for purchase.
Walk Through Our Torii Gate
Right as you step off of the elevators on the 5th Floor Ballroom, guests will be greeted by the HJCC's very own Torii Gate. Did you know that our Torii Gate has been part of the Shinnen Enkai for over two decades? Don't forget to ring the bell and "receive blessings" from the Chamber's Chair of the Board and Cherry Blossom Queen!
Grab an Omamori
Grab an omamori for the new year to start 2025 with a fresh start and to ward off bad luck from the previous year!

The program will start with New Year greetings, a kampai toast, and a blessing from Bishop Amano. This has been a tradition of the HJCC's Shinnen Enkai for many years!
